เริ่มพูดคุยและแลกเปลี่ยนเวลา 14:00 น. ในวันที่15กุมภาพันธ์ 2549 ที่สำนักงานมูลนิธิที่นา (อุโมงค์ศิลปธรรม) ซอยวัดอุโมงค์ เชียงใหม่

พิพิธภัณฑ์ศิลปะระยะสั้น ซอยสบายที่จัดขึ้นเปรียบเสมือนตัวแทนประสบการณ์ระยะสั้นที่เชื่อมบทสนทนารวมไปถึงแลกเปลี่ยนและเก็บเกี่ยวความคิดเห็นระหว่างกันและแม้ว่าพิพิธภัณฑ์นี้จะเปิดให้ชมในช่วงเวลาสั้นๆ ทว่าความประทับใจจะยังคงอยู่ในใจเราได้ยาวนานกว่าพิพิธภัณฑ์ถาวรเสียอีก

Temporary Art Museum Soi Sabai (TAMSS) is organized as a figure of a short experience which relates dialog as well as sharing

experience and collecting one’s opinions. This museum, though, will be open in a brief period of time; its impression stays with us longer than some permanent museums.

ในคืนอันเห็บหนาวคืนหนึ่ง ฟูมิย่าบินกลับมาจากลอนดอน หลังจากจัดงานนิทรรศการที่รวมเอาศิลปิน จากเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ ภายใต้ชื่องานว่า “Assosted Asian Tigers” แล้วเขาก็กลับมาเล่าถึงความน่าตื่นเต้นของวัฒนธรรมไทยให้พวกเราฟัง สองเดือนผ่านไป

เราก็พบว่าตัวเองได้มาอยู่ในเมืองไทยเสียแล้ว เพื่อเตรียมงานนิทรรศการ “Welcome to Soi Sabai” ซึ่งจะจัดขึ้นที่กราฟ โอซาก้า ประเทศญี่ปุ่น ในฤดูร้อนของปี 2547 และก็หวังว่าจะได้จัดแสดงนิทรรศการที่เมืองไทยบ้างสักวันหนึ่ง

One cold night, Fumiya flew back from London from an exhibition ‘Assorted Asian Tigers’ which gathered numbers of South East Asian artists. He came back to tell us a bout the excitement of the Thai Culture. Two month passed through. We found ourselves being in Thailand preparing for an exhibition “Welcome to Soi Sabai” which will be exhibited at Graf, Ozaka, Japan in summer 2005. We hope we would be able to exhibit in Thailand one day.

A brief meeting in Thailand this time certainly will not be temporary!
